1994 Citroen Xantia 1.9 TD SX (Jan 1994, no airbags but antisink fitted)

She is now away on her holidays with Uncle Ken, and cruised happily up the M1 the 90 miles to Wakefield without so much of a murmour at a steady 70mph.PhilGreaves wrote:fair enough more for mee muhahahahaaaaa...

However the NEW wheeltrim on the osf managed to make a break for freedom somewhere enroute .

All I can say about this car is, it looks a lot better from underneath than it does on top
It's actually in quite good structural condition, has a bit of rust under the front end but the back end is incredibly good.
A new nearside rear wing would really do justice to the car, and mechanically she's all but MOTable.
Bet our neighbours are really sad to see it leave.

She made it home with no issues at all, made me realise how buggered the clutch is on the 19TZD (soon to be replaced) but its quite a bit slower too (that 6bhp makes ALL the difference). I think it runs on air though as the fuel gauge hardly moved!
Anyway, the bodywork starts in ernest very soon as its rather a tatty old barge!

And I'm very jealous of the positioning of your cold start advance, why does mine have to go behind the oil filler neck!!?? (But the photo has given me a clearer view of the cable routing, so thanks for that).
