What did you do with your BX today ?

I just looked at mine today still up on blocks of wood, and all sorts of junk slowly being piled up on the roof and bonnet and dust so thick you can barely see thru the windows, I shook my head, switched the lights off and shut the garage door.
Still, the spiders seem quite at home inside the car.

Just had a quick sit inside and turned on the Atlanta SQR 47 to have a quick blast of Menswear Nuisance, sounds so much better in cassette.

My current blue point player has no power.
Hope to fix it, or replace like for like. With a hidden Bluetooth unit for my phone.

I cleared all the crap off mine, Inc 1 r/c aeroplane, 3 old pictures. 1 old printer, 3 sets of car mats, a sledge, some underlay and the parcel shelf.
Lots of new scratches as well.

Removed the broken windscreen spray bar and installed the Mercedes screen wash block.

Much improved screen clean.

Had the DTR for a run to derby to see a mate for a socially distanced Tea and meet his new puppy.

Left it getting a 'rinse' in the steady rain.
Tomorrow morning: Covid jab #1 $\:D/$ , and collect the A/C O-rings* from Citroen.
* Junta torica in Spanish. Isn't that nice?

Fixed the blue point radio - power disconnected !!

Wiped down with some LHM. The front struts inside the gator. Apparently this stops the juddering when going up or down. Worked a treat.

I momentarily had visions there of the poor old radio getting the LHM treatment

Some regular road use and a few Citrobics should keep the front struts creak-free, as they will be self-lubricating.

BX today just rested. Rain stopped, now 22°C and sunny.
Friday productive: Pfizer jab, and lots of O-rings.

Hell, I always swore I'd never go anywhere near F*c*b**k.

This thread has a lot to answer for.

It’s had plenty of citrobics whilst parked up. . The manual lube defiantly helped the radio !!.
Am not driving it at the moment. As I am unsure of cam belt history. Hoping to catch up with Kitch soon as he is replacing my cam belt etc.

I charged the battery, cleared out the boot and fitted a small wooden trim, sprayed black, to stop the parcel shelf from trying to descend into the boot space. Checked the oil and water. I still need to have a look underneath before I challenge the local garage with an MOT.

Cut and shaped 6 pieces of steel sheet ready for welding the o/s sill, chassis rail and axle mounting.

Booked in for a cam belt, pump and tensioner replacement. Plus a quick once over the auto choke etc

Can wait to be able to drive it whenever I like when the belt is changed.
