Front Speakers

Can anyone recommend some good quality speakers i can fit to my TZi front doors that will fit in the old apertures and behind speaker grille covers.

Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....

I use Alpine 1325s 5.25 inch speakers. They are reasonable quality and the right size and definitely better than the originals.
I might have a spare pair somewhere..........

just fitted pioneer ts-g1315 13cm 5 1/4 inch dual cone speakers in my estate, straight swap for original ones whose cones had broken up, had to crimp up one of the connectors which was slightly loose but otherwise no problem fitting.presumably any brand this size should fit,, carefully lever off the grills about an inch from the top on both sides to remove, 4 crosshead retaining screws underneath

I tend to find that modern speakers have larger magnets at the back, necessitating cutting into the seal behind, which should then be resealed somehow if you're a purist and/or want to keep the damp out.
