Is it normal to find what looks like a shower cap around the distributor cap? I have one on my distributor on my BX19 auto

I find the profile makes the biggest difference. Handling is no different, infact with a lower profile tyre and a 15inch rim it's better.

Changing the head gasket on a mates 1.9D, put it all back togther, timing bolts in correctly, new belt fitted, engine turned over 4 times, bolts back...
