I 've renewed the gearbox oil, and adjusted the clutch linkage, and the gearchange is a vast improvement.

Do check the plugs on the side of the unit for weep. If it's leaking there, all the pipe-tightening in the world won't do any good.

The standard test is to short one of the door switches to earth but if that doesn't work, you'll have to sort out the black box which you won't be...

The gearbox filler on the end, is a 21mm bolt IIRC. But I always fill it through the breather.

My TZD has always had a rather notchy gear change. I've driven tons of BX's including TZD's and this is by far the worst ever.
